UF College of Dentistry received official word in February 2009 that its predoctoral dental education program had been granted the accreditation status of "approval without reporting requirements" by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). "Approval without reporting requirements" indicates that the program achieves or exceeds the basic requirements for accreditation. The next site visit for the predoctoral program will occur in 2015.

The programs in dental education are accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and have been granted the accreditation status of "approval without reporting requirements." Summary of committee charge

Team charter

This committee will assess the college's biomedical science instruction, ensuring that students receive an in-depth understanding of basic biological principles. They will assess whether the biomedical knowledge base emphasizes the oro-facial complex, provides in-depth information on abnormal biological conditions and provides knowledge of biomedical sciences sufficient in depth and scope that graduates can apply advances in modern biology to clinical practice and can integrate new medical knowledge and therapies into practice.
