UF College of Dentistry received official word in February 2009 that its predoctoral dental education program had been granted the accreditation status of "approval without reporting requirements" by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). "Approval without reporting requirements" indicates that the program achieves or exceeds the basic requirements for accreditation. The next site visit for the predoctoral program will occur in 2015.

The programs in dental education are accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and have been granted the accreditation status of "approval without reporting requirements." Summary of committee charge

Team charter

This committee will evaluate the standards to ensure that the college's graduates are competent in applying ethical, legal and regulatory concepts in providing oral health care services. Graduates must be competent in the application of ethical reasoning principles and professional responsibility as they pertain to patient care and practice management. Graduates must recognize the role of lifelong learning and self-assessment in order to maintain competency.
