UF College of Dentistry received official word in February 2009 that its predoctoral dental education program had been granted the accreditation status of "approval without reporting requirements" by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). "Approval without reporting requirements" indicates that the program achieves or exceeds the basic requirements for accreditation. The next site visit for the predoctoral program will occur in 2015.

The programs in dental education are accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and have been granted the accreditation status of "approval without reporting requirements." The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United Stated Department of Education.
