DMD Program

The University of Florida College of Dentistry is the only publicly-funded dental school in the state of Florida and is a national leader in dental education, research and service. View the Vision and Mission of the College of Dentistry here.

The University of Florida College of Dentistry attracts students of the highest caliber into its academic programs. Excellent records of scholastic achievement, moral character, and motivation are expected of all applicants. Currently the first-year class numbers approximately 80 students.

To view the status of your application go to the "status" of your online AADSAS application at www.adea.org. We understand that waiting for a decision is nerve-wracking. However, calling the office to check on your status only slows the admissions process as we must stop admissions work to answer calls. Please use AADSAS as your admissions status resource. We work hard to keep this updated.

Note: The admissions committee cannot inform applicants of acceptance any earlier than December 1st. Please be aware that the admissions office can not give any final decisions over the phone. All decisions will be mailed to your preferred address and posted at the AADSAS website. Decisions in writing are the only official decision from the University of Florida.

The University of Florida College of Dentistry does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, sex, marital status, religion, age, or disability. The university, when appropriate, provides accommodations for disabled individuals upon request.
