Internationally-Educated Dentists Program
The University of Florida College of Dentistry offers several options for internationally-educated dentists with degrees from non-accredited dental schools (by the American Dental Association, ADA). Opportunities are available in our Advanced and Graduate Education programs and Four-Year DMD Program for Internationally-Educated Dentists.
All of these programs provide international dentists the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge of the dental profession as practiced in the United States.
A new two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program for International Dentists is in the planning phases. The one-year AEGD program in Hialeah, Florida is becoming a two-year AEGD. Applications are now being accepted.
More information on the two-year AEGD program
The University of Florida College of Dentistry does not admit graduates of foreign dental schools to the DMD program with advanced standing or accept international transfer students.
