Our Purpose
The Dental Clinical Research Unit (DCRU), recently established, is affiliated with the Clinical and Translation Science Institute (CTSI) at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
The focus of the DCRU is to continue efforts to enhance clinical and translational research within the UFCD, as well as develop collaborative research with additional partners. The DCRU will build on the success of the Periodontal Disease Research Center (PDRC) and expand services to meet the clinical/translational research needs of the College of Dentistry and collaborative investigators.
The DCRU is located on the first floor of the dental tower, with an additional eight-chair research clinic located on the third floor of the dental tower, both providing facilities for conducting dental clinical research studies.
