Assistant Professor

Dr. Varella received his DDS degree at Unigranrio Rio de Janeiro. He completed both his Master's degree and Certificate in Endodontics at the University of Michigan.

His research interests include laser and pulp biology, specifically pulp reactions to caries and dental procedures.
