Welcome to the Office of Faculty Affairs

The Office of Faculty Affairs works to foster a positive and supportive work environment that facilitates opportunities for faculty professional growth and development. The Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs has the following responsibilities:

  • Advise the dean, chairs, center directors and individual faculty and administrators on matters affecting faculty
  • Provide administrative support for the faculty’s role in shared governance
  • Serve as an ombudsman for faculty affairs to the dean, Health Science Center, and campus administration
