Our Purpose
The Periodontal Disease Research Center (PDRC) was established at the University of Florida in 1978 by the State University System Board of Regents as an independent center for the purpose of conducting research in the prevention, causes, diagnosis, and treatment of oral diseases and/or conditions. The PDRC conducts clinical research trials which may include interdisciplinary projects such as periodontology, pharmacokinetics, microbiology, immunology, cariology and statistics.
Through our services, we offer industry research, which follows Good Clinical Practice and FDA guidelines, providing sponsors with the highest quality results. Additionally, we offer a variety of dental-related healthcare services to the community in accordance with the requirements of the sponsor’s protocol. |
