Join UFCD-SRG

All interested UFCD students are eligible to join.
Application for individual membership shall be endorsed by two active members of the SRG or by the faculty advisor of SRG who shall attest to the eligibility of the applicant.
All active members must pay a $5 membership fee (subject to change—see the Constitution and Bylaws) which will go towards financing organizational activities and events.

There are many options for research opportunities – from laboratory to clinical to behavioral.
Research is the basis for evidence-based research.
You can invent new materials or discover new techniques for dental procedures.
Doing research allow you to be more involved with the dental school and its faculty and you will get to know your mentor really well.
Your mentor is usually very understanding about your academic and clinical obligation. Contrary to popular belief, there is always enough time to do it.
Research is a fun process where you can learn a lot that is not taught in the classroom.
You can present your work nationally or internationally.
