Welcome to the Department of
Restorative Dental Sciences

The Department of Restorative Dental Sciences includes three academic divisions: operative dentistry, pre-doctoral general dentistry, and prosthodontics.

Created in 2010 by combining the departments of operative dentistry and prosthodontics, and faculty who teach in the D.M.D clinics, the department has significant impact on the D.M.D. program and strengthens the college as a whole by:

  • Facilitating clinical research collaborations and growth in the research activities of the department, ensuring its national stature and recognition;
  • Further improving education of the D.M.D. students through enhanced curriculum integration and clinical educational experiences;
  • Improving administrative efficiencies.
