Q-What is the deadline for applications to be submitted?
The deadline for applications to be submitted is October 1st.
How many residents do you accept a year?
For the 2009 application cycle we will accept 10 residents.
When will I know if I am accepted?
Applicants are usually notified of selection by the 2nd week of December.
Is there a stipend?
Yes, the stipend for the upcoming year is $30,000.00.
How long is the program?
The program's length is for 12 months, from July 1st through June 30th.
What airport should I fly into when I visit?
Both Tampa International Airport and St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport are within a short drive to our clinic.
Where are the best places to stay when I visit?
The following is a list of hotels we recommend, all within a short drive to our clinic:

  • Hampton Inn (Ulmerton Rd.)
  • Tradewinds Hotel (St. Petersburg Beach)

Where should I live if I am accepted?
Some of our past residents have chosen to live near the beach, though most live in apartment complexes. We suggest you contact local realtors for information on available beachfront living.
