Individual Committee Member Responsibilities
Committee members are appointed based on their role as dean, associate or assistant dean, chairperson or chair of the Faculty Assembly. Committee members are required to attend the monthly Executive Advisory Board meeting which is held on a Thursday from 8:00–10:00 a.m. Chairpersons who cannot attend are expected to send an alternate.
In addition to attending all meetings, members are required to read a packet of materials in preparation for the meeting and, in the case of chairpersons, share information from the discussions with their departmental faculty. This committee reviews college-level policies and recommendations from standing faculty committees in their advisory role to the dean.
Time commitment: Minimum of 2½ hours per month.
