Overview

The College of Dentistry has undertaken expansion of its teledentistry videoconferencing technology with the goal of improving access to oral health care for Florida residents.The project will lead to a dramatic improvement in the college's videoconferencing capabilities -- enhancing video-based instruction and enabling telemedicine consultation services statewide in its community based clinics, as well as web-based educational experiences for dental students, residents and faculty.

This grant is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration. The grant period is September 1, 2004 through February 28, 2006. For additional information, please visit HRSA Office for Advancement of Telehealth (OAT) .
