Main Interests:

Dr. Nimmo earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.  She was awarded her MPH with an emphasis in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from the University of California at Los Angeles. She received her DDS at the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1985.

Dr. Nimmo is currently assigned to the Oral Diagnosis and Treatment Planning Clinic where she participates in the management and organization of schedules and staffing.  Her current area of interest is in patient education and health information.  She tries to teach the dental students what it takes to enlist the patient in the management of their own oral health.

Dr. Nimmo helped to provide the information for the Student Health Center on various dental topics relevant to the UF student population.  The link to the web page is provided below:
