University of Florida College of Dentistry Graduate Admissions: Apopka Program

This 12-month certificate program in Advanced Education in the College of Dentistry is located in Apopka, Florida. Community Health Centers, Inc. is committed to serve as the health care lifeguard for many of Central Florida’s medically underserved populations and is a task which has been performed with vigor and pride for more than a quarter of a century. CHC continues its mission to provide needed services to rural communities and medically underserved populations with the knowledge that there can be few greater health priorities than a source for caring, sensitive, and knowledgeable care. This 12-month certificate program will provide advanced didactic and clinical training in all dental specialties. At CHC, emergency treatment is scheduled daily, however, the majority of treatment is comprehensive care. General dentistry includes diagnostic, preventive, restorative, rotary endodontic, periodontic, fixed removable and implants, prosthodontics and oral surgery procedures. A stipend is available in the amount of $30,000. No tuition is required.

Additional information on the Apopka Program can be found on the Apopka Dental Clinic website.
