Implant Maintenance & Airpolishing
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This hands-on workshop hones your skills in both airpolishing and the proper techniques for maintaining implants. You will learn
how to eliminate the mess of airpolishing, while increasing patient comfort, what instruments to select for "scaling" implants and much, much more. You will be
taught the SECRETS of proper instrument selection and how to practice proper dental ergonomics in the clinical setting, including seating and positioning of the
patient and operator, lighting and illumination of the oral cavity.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
This hands-on workshop will directly impact your patients by teaching you to:
- Utilize alternative, newly designed prophyjets & other airpolishing equipment
- Learn the Essential Instruments for Implant Maintenance
- Acquire Tricks & Tips for correct OHI for Implant patients
- Provide ergonomic techniques to decrease physical fatigue and enhance time efficiency
