My current research is directed by Dr Karl-Johan Solderholm. My
research primarily involves aspects of dental restorative composites.
Our more current research includes evaluating composite material
properties and developing experimental composites. Other studies
in progress include composite wear studies, bonding issues associated
with composite materials, dentin adhesion evaluations and composite
degradation evaluations. My analysis and work includes use of
HPLC (High performance liquid chromatography), profilometry, wearing
machine, pycnometry, and atomic absorption, among other lab instruments.
I am fortunate to also interact with dental students who do composite
related research in our labs.
