DMD Electives

Electives are courses designed to allow dental students the opportunity to vary their curriculum according to individual interests. They are intended to supplement, not to replace any part of the core curriculum. Each student is required to complete a minimum of 6 credit hours of approved elective courses prior to graduation.

Approved electives are listed on the following table. To enroll, a student must print out and complete the Elective Enrollment Request (also available in the Office of Education), obtain course director's signature and forward the request to the Office of Education to ensure proper registration.

All elective courses are assigned the course number DEN8290 with the internal course number designation.
