Main Interests:

Dr.Britto received his dental degree from the Universidade Santo Amaro, São Paulo, Brazil in 1990. He completed a one-year fellowship in endodontics in 1997, the specialty training in endodontics and a Master of Science degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry (U.F.C.D.) in 2000.

Dr. Britto practiced as a general dentist for 7 years in São Paulo before he came to the United States. He currently maintains a part-time practice limited to endodontics in the faculty practice at the U.F.C.D.

Dr. Britto is actively involved with clinical and laboratory research in the fields of periradicular tissue healing, nickel titanium rotary instruments, and the identification of endodontic pathogens. His main research interests include the application of osteogenic proteins associated with different bone scaffolds during the induction of periradicular tissue healing.

Dr. Britto is currently a member of the USA Triathlon and Master Swimming.
