UF College of Dentistry: D8-11 Videoconferencing Room Equipment

D8-11 comes complete with plasma screens, wall mounted cameras, ceiling mounted microphones, and the Sympodium interactive monitor which allows faculty to annotate directly on PowerPoint presentations, web sites, and documents.

D8-11 has the VS 4000 Polycom unit for videoconferencing using Internet Protocol (IP) video. The VS 4000 is a multi-point videoconferencing system which can link up to 4 sites at the same time.

The offsite dental clinics in Hialeah, St. Petersburg, Jacksonville, and Apopka use the FX Viewstation for videoconferencing with Gainesville and other sites.
