Welcome to FTD

The goal of the Foreign Trained Dental Program is to provide training in clinical dentistry and the applied basic sciences within and beyond the level of pre-doctoral education.The program is designed to enhance the student's scope of knowledge and clinical skills required to provide comprehensive dental care for all patient populations.The first year of the two-year certificate program takes place in Gainesville, Florida in the FTD Dental clinic.

Hialeah Jacksonville St. Petersburg
The second year of the program takes place at one of three clinic locations in Florida including Hialeah, Jacksonville, and St. Petersburg.
During the second year, FTD students receive hands-on clinical experience and educational lectures. The lectures will be presented in-house and through live videoconferences with top UFCD faculty members from Gainesville.
