Biographical
Information:
Dr. Guelmann is originally
from Curitiba, Brazil. His D.D.S. degree is from the Federal University
of Parana in 1984. He completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at
the Hadassah Faculty of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem, Israel and became
Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry in Israel in 1988.
He was in private practice
from 1989-1999 and had a part-time faculty position in the Department of
Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Tel Aviv. Dr. Guelmann was also
the Chairman of the Israeli Society of Dentistry for Children from 1995
to 1998. In 1999 he completed a pediatric fellowship at UF and joined the
faculty in 2000.
His areas of interest and
research are dental education, dental biomaterials, trauma and sedation.
