Biographical Sketch:

Dr. Garvey received his DMD in 1980 from the University of Florida 
College of Dentistry.  He completed a general practice residency at St. Luke's Memorial Hispital in Utica, NY, and had a private practice in Seminole, Florida.  He has been on the faculty at UFCD since 1989, focusing on providing dental care for adults with disabling conditions.  He has been on staff at Shands Hospital since 1992, where he provides dental care to patients under general anesthesia, and has helped in coordinating the provision of dental care in rural Dominican Republic since 1987.
