Biographical
Information:
Dr. Daniela Rodrigues Silva
is originally from Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil. Earned her D.D.S.
degree at the Federal University of Goiás in 1986. She completed
her first residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of São
Paulo, Brazil in 1989, and later on completed her Master Degree in Pediatric
Dentistry at the University of Michigan in 2002. She became Board Eligible
in Pediatric Dentistry in the United States in 2003.
Dr. Silva was in private practice
in Goiânia, Brazil, from 1987-2000 and had a part-time faculty position
in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the School of Dentistry of
Anápolis, Goiás, Brazil from 1990-2000. Dr. Silva was also
the President of the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry of Goiás from
1998-2000.
In March 2003, Dr. Silva joined
the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Detroit Mercy
School of Dentistry as an Assistant Professor, and in September 2004 she
joined the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Florida
College of Dentistry.
